Band, Tubular and Strip Heaters

WAAGE Mica Insulated Band Heaters are made to fit around extrusion nozzles, pipes and dies of various shapes and sizes. When firmly mounted they provide effective and quick heat transfer and give dependable service. Features include one piece construction, terminals at each end or two terminals on one end and watt density up to 25 watts per square inch to develop temperatures to 550°F. Stainless Steel is used for higher temperatures with watt density up to 30 watts per square inch.

WAAGE Tubular Heaters are adaptable to a wide variety of industrial applications. They can be bent into any desired shape, and may be clamped against a surface, immersed in liquid or used to heat air in ovens or ducts. They can be formed for heating by radiation, conduction or convection. Tubular heaters feature coiled nickel-chromium resistance wire embedded in refractory material encased in a seamless sheath of brass, steel, stainless steel or titanium.

WAAGE Strip Heaters are custom built to meet your specific heating requirements. Many common sizes, however, are available direct from stock. If 2 or more heaters are used, connections can easily be made to give 3 heats, or automatic requlation. Heaters consist of high-quality nickel chromium elements insulated with magnesium oxide, inserted into a seamless stainless steel sheath. Materials have been selected for maximum heat transfer consistent with highest dielectric. Available in 115 or 230 volts and 100 to 1500 Watts.
