Uses: are designed for quick immersion "over the side" of tanks or other vessels. They are portable and ideally suited for applications where is it portable and ideally suited for applications where it is impractical to install immersion heaters through t he side of the container. Their use for sterilizing and heating liquids to a boil is more efficient than other methods because they make direct contact with the liquid, rather than first heating the container.
NON-USES: do not heat hazardous chemicals, salt compounds, mercury, toxic chemicals.
